Infrastructure division projects include buildings, roads, bridges and other structures, regional/agricultural infrastructure and planning (GIS based). Planning within water and infrastructure projects includes land development (rural and urban areas), urban improvements. ILACO has carried out several infrastructure projects including assessment of drainage structure, rehabilitation of sluices, construction of road and other related works in Paramaribo as well as in the districts. Furthermore ILACO has gained experience in government capacity building programs and has been involved in projects in Paramaribo as well as in the districts. Therefore experience in stakeholder participation, respect for culture in distance areas has been obtained.
