Water related expertise has been built up on climate change resilient technologies and systems, water flood protection (dikes/ dams), waste water management, water supply, drainage, sewerage, irrigation, soil and geotechnics and geohydrology. ILACO has carried out several projects regarding drinking water. ILACO services consist of technical advice on (1) the development and implementation of a Non Revenue Water (NRW) program, (2) supervision of construction works (construction of new distribution lines and remove Asbest lines), (3) training and monitoring of SWM.
Therefore the following activities has been carried out: inventory of existing water connections, water audits, data analyses and mapping in ArcGIS and ACAD. Works included field survey. Prepare tender documents and assist with tender procedures for replacement/construction of new drinking water supply network, (IDB policies).
